The Best Organic Beef Vermont Farmers Provide

By Kristen Baird

There have been many attacks against industrial agriculture, and for good reason. People are finding that it is more harmful to consumers than originally thought. All one needs to do is look around at the increase in the variety of chronic diseases that are ailing consumers. It is believed that numerous questionable practices and pesticides are at fault. As such, it's making it more and more difficult to stay healthy. That has many turning to opting for the best organic beef Vermont farmers offer.

It's important to understand that real food actually comes from real food sources. That's why many are questioning the quality of meat sold in butcher shops and grocery stores. It seems unnatural and odd that what is offered on such shelves are always boneless. Much of those lost bones become ingredients in processed foods, after they have been broken down and processed.

It's important to know from where the cut of meat comes. Animals standing knee-deep in filth isn't natural either. Instead, they should be roaming free and eating what mother nature intended them to eat. That's why there are numerous bouts of mad cow disease.

Account is supposed to eat grass so that it can grow at a natural pace and be as healthy as possible. Unfortunately, this is a slow process, but growing naturally will provide all the proteins necessary to those who consume it. Packaged beef is always unknown, as to where it comes from. Consider how, in just as little as one pound of beef, it's not from just one cow, but from hundreds possibly.

There's no question that a diet consisting of organic beef can make a huge difference in keeping a family healthy as it provides people with the nutrients necessary. These types of meat don't contain antibiotics or steroids, and the cows aren't fed anything that's not part of their natural diet. Industrial agriculture, in an effort to provide greater profits, injects steroids to grow them faster and bigger.

Food was never meant to be a science. It is in fact meant to be something to be eaten that provides the various nutrients people need to thrive, and not just survive. Buying packaged foods means adding lots of unknown ingredients, often harmful to people after years of consuming them. It's probably why, or at least one reason why, there are so many autoimmune diseases today.

Forcing animals to grow or using science in foods isn't natural. On that note, neither is cooking the way it is today. Opening up a package of prepared frozen foods and heating it is not cooking, and it's not healthy. One doesn't have to look that far back to remember how people actually cooked from scratch.

Obesity is also linked to questionable food ingredients and meat from animals that were subjected to standing in filth up to their knees. All these illnesses that are rampant today were very rare in the past, as was obesity and diabetes. Today, everywhere one looks there is an obese adult or child. Don't let the cost of organic meat stop you from buying something better for the family. It's better to eat less of a good thing, than more of a bad thing.
